filo Story
Our stories are interwoven. And every small action makes an impact. Where we buy our lunch affects a whole chain of people, from farmers to CEOs and everyone in between. What if our small actions could make a difference to people sleeping rough in Aberdeen, sustainable Scottish businesses and coffee growers in other parts of the world?
filo is an ethical and sustainable coffee house and events space where you can feel at home and make a positive impact on other people’s stories. We want to be a place where people are seen, heard and invested in. We want it to be a place where new friendships are made, events spark new ideas and people are given new hope.
TRANSFORM FOOD
All our food is made by Transform Food, a catering company which gives opportunities, training and support to people who are facing barriers to employment. Barriers like a lack of confidence and training, ill health, alcohol or drug dependency and release from prison. We’re all about creating dishes from local ingredients, partnering with other independent businesses and trying out new delicious combos.
